THOMAS JEFFERSON EARLY LIFE
Thomas Jefferson was born on April 13, 1743 in Shadwell Virginia.His mom was Jane Randolph. She was from a wealthy family with kings of Scotland and England. Jeffersons dad was Peter Jefferson who gat his money by working on a farm. He had 8 siblings but 2 died the ones that stayed alive were Jane, Mary, Martha, Peter, Lucy, Anna, and Randolph. While he was 3 years old his father's slave helped ride a pony.When he was in school he loved to read and right. Most of his learning focused on Latin ,Greeks, and the Classical Ideal Statesmen. If he had a test he would be prepared because he loved to study. He had tutors but he left them at the age of 17.One day he snuck out of school and prayed in hopes of school ending forever because he did not like he school he was at.His father taught him how to shoot a gun and ride a horse. When he was only 14 years old s he then became in charge of his family. He was sent to boarding school when his family was was moving. In college he made many friends and went to William and Mary college in 1767.
